Arkansas Federal Credit Union Announces 2020 Scholarship Recipient

Arkansas Federal is proud to announce Nia Lindsey of Sherwood as the 2020 Arkansas Federal Scholarship recipient. Ms. Lindsey will be attending Spelman College in Atlanta, GA this fall to pursue her degree in Marketing.

“The scholarship review committee was so impressed by the quality, leadership, and diverse achievements that this year’s scholarship applicants have shown during their high school careers,” said Christopher Wilson, senior accountant and scholarship review committee member. “Ms. Lindsey’s application stood out among the over 200 applications we reviewed. Her drive to be the best she can be jumped off the page to us from the passion she shows through her community involvement, to being a leader at North Little Rock High School, not to mention becoming a published author her senior year. We know that Spelman College is getting a very motivated student, and we look forward to seeing her next great achievements.”

Ms. Lindsey will receive a check for $5,000 to Spelman College in August to apply towards her course of study. Congratulations on a job well done!
