Arkansas Federal Credit Union Announces Promotion of JR Morris to Vice President of Business Lending

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (December 8, 2022) – Arkansas Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of JR Morris to vice president of business lending. Morris joined Arkansas Federal in 2020 as senior commercial lender.

In his new role, Morris is responsible for the origination and oversight of commercial lending.

“JR will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing commercial lending products, services and strategies.” said Alan Harrison, senior vice president of business services. “We view his appointment as a sign of our continued commitment to being a leader within the industry for commercial, business, and guaranteed lending.”

Prior to joining Arkansas Federal in 2020, Morris served as a commercial lender and vice president of commercial lending at First National Bank in Oklahoma. Morris has spent more than 25 years in various roles in accounting, insurance, and technology in the banking industry. Morris holds a Master of Educational Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern State University.
