Keba Caswell: Finding the Right Fit at Arkansas Federal

It didn’t take long for insurance agent Keba Caswell to embrace the culture at Arkansas Federal Credit Union.

A long-time licensed cosmetologist and district manager for salons and retail stores, Keba needed a change of scenery in 2019 after losing her father to cancer.

“I realized how essential family time was,” she said. “It fueled my desire to reduce the chaotic and time-consuming schedule required in the retail world.”

Arkansas Federal’s family-first culture provided the perfect fit.

“It is so important to truly belong to a culture you truly believe in,” Keba said. “Putting the member’s needs first, making it easy for the member and truly treating every experience as you were speaking with a family member is essential.”

This approach, she adds, translates from the member experience to the employee experience.

Keba’s most satisfying moments come when she can help translate the “tangled web of confusing insurance jargon” into terms the member can understand. “This can make a huge difference to the member to truly understand what they are protecting and why.”
